You know, between crazy
and genius are very thin boundary? At least according to a scientific study
based in Stockholm, Sweden, Karolinska Institute.
The findings were
published in the scientific journal pages The Local mention that in many cases,
the process of brain work geniuses have in common with the brain mentally ill
or people with scizofrenia.
"We've been
studying the human brain, and one type of receptor called Dopamine. Here we see
that the dopamine system is very creative, together with dopamine Scizofrenia
patients," said Dr. Fredrick Ullen, the researcher who led the study.
This study, he said, is
proof that there is no clear boundary between the human genius and a madman.
The only thing that clearly distinguishes between the two, he said, is
creativity.
While prominent
similarities between brain madman and genius is they both have a poor ability
to filter the information it receives. Under these conditions, said Ullen,
enormous opportunities for the emergence of creative thinking.
The number of incoming
information without going through screening, judged, potentially creating new
logics difficult raised by the human brain in general.
"Thinking outside
the box (out of the box), can occur because of the ability of the brain that is
not intact," added Ullen told The Local. Perhaps that's why people who
have great ideas, even great discovery sometimes said to be Crazy. Crazy for
thinking that is so great and discoveries that can change the world.
